Hastings People’s Emergency Briefing is a community screening and discussion about the challenges faced by people in Hastings and St Leonards.
Who is most vulnerable, who is already working in this area and what more needs to be done?
The film
This film presents shortened extracts from expert testimony given at the National Emergency Briefing in Westminster last Autumn, intercut with responses from members of the public in conversation with broadcaster Chris Packham.
It is being screened in almost 2,000 locations across the UK, to promote knowledge and discussion of the urgent, interconnected crises facing the country: security, climate breakdown, nature and biodiversity loss, the impacts of which are already being felt in rising food and energy prices.
