Artist Emma Harding has gathered stories and memories from local people related to the Trinity Triangle area. She has talked to groups and individuals in local societies, voluntary groups, care homes and cafes. The gathered memories have inspired the design of ceramic tiles. Ceramic artists Clement Boland and Esme Fisher have assisted Emma Harding in the making of the tiles.

Before they were coloured and fired to a higher temperature, the bisque fired tiles were temporarily installed in the OBX studio. Students from Bexhill College (Art, Media and Performance) had filmed many of the contributors and the resulting videos were edited and projected onto the tiles with the help of the OBX team. The finished tiles now installed in the alley will be a lasting memory of the lives of local people and their links to the Trinity Triangle area.

This project is a part of Neighbourhood Stories within the Trinity Triangle Heritage Action Zone scheme for Hastings which is funded by Historic England and led by Hastings Commons Community Land Trust.
